Charlotta Friborg joins our Global View panel, where leading Editors and Correspondents from different regions share their views on the frontline issues facing the news industry in the next twelve months.

Charlotta is Head of National News Editorial and Managing Team at the Swedish public service broadcaster SVT. She is a member of EBU’s News Committee. She has a background as editor in chief and CEO at some of Sweden’s leading newspapers.

Charlotta has held a number of board assignments in organisations: in the Swedish press publisher association, TU, (2010—2015) and the national publishers association, Utgivarna, (2019 – ongoing). Their mission is defending freedom of speech and the free press.
